ESDO’s Strategy Unit works across all of our missions, delivering Capacity Building, Programme Design & Management and Climate Change Mitigation.
ESDO’s Strategy Unit is a professional team of multi-disciplinary experts in programme design, project/programme management; capacity building for communities, CSOs and governments; and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
ESDO Strategy Unit team deploy on missions from the Sahel to East Asia.
Programme Design & Management
We assist in the development, review and evaluation of donor programmes from needs assessments to formal designs.
We also have extensive experience in management of programmes and projects including financial management, governance and reporting for USAID, EU and FCDO.
Capacity Building
We provide management of capacity building programmes as well as delivering capacity development in research, programme management, management, innovation, communications, strategy and climate change.
Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation
ESDO delivers specific climate change mitigation and adaptation projects, especially in agriculture and community resilience. Mitigation strategies are designed to tackle the causes and minimising the possible impacts of climate change, while adaptation strategies seek to reduce the negative effects of climate change and how to take advantage of any opportunities that arise.
